From the first name to delivery

- We researchHalfway through the stage we send you an update with a first finding.
- We deliver and explainYou receive the tree, the digital book and the documents, and we go through them with you.
- You decide whether to continueKeep what you received or move on to the next generation, paying only the difference.
When the research hits obstacles
Old records do not always survive or remain legible. If we see early on that the case is not feasible, we stop, charge at most €45 for the check and refund the rest. If only some branches are blocked, we explain what we found and suggest alternatives before going on.
Preliminary search
When the home village is unknown or it is unclear who the right person is, we offer a €45 preliminary search of up to two hours. If the case goes ahead, the €45 is deducted from stage 1.
Our guarantee
We guarantee the agreed price and scope, identified sources, clear communication about obstacles and free correction of any mistake of ours. We do not promise noble ancestors, a set number of centuries or a right to citizenship.
Already have a study or a tree?
We build on what already exists, checking the sources, and adjust the quote to the work saved. Payment by bank transfer.
Gift
Give the gift of a family's story
An Origo gift voucher is a present for parents, grandparents, godparents or anyone curious about where they come from. For Christmas, birthdays, golden weddings or the birth of a grandchild.
- A €180 or €240 voucher (the price of the first stage), or any amount you choose.
- To receive the voucher before Christmas, order it by 22 December.
- A PDF gift card with the recipient's name.
- Valid for 12 months.
- If the case is not feasible, we suggest an alternative or refund the unused amount.
Living abroad?
Your roots are in Portugal. We are close to them.
Many families left Northern and Central Portugal for France, Brazil, the United States or Canada and lost track of their home village. We start from what you know, whether a name, a letter or a certificate, and find the parish, the records and the family that stayed behind.
